We’re sold out tonight for Backgammon for Beginners at The Roundhouse, but there are still some tickets left for Thursday to Saturday nights, 8pm. Grab them quick!

Afte countless hundreds of miles of driving, a few dozen get-ins and outs, and a lot of coffees for our wonderful technician, Jules; this April, we will be settling in to the Roundhouse for a run from Weds 17th- Sat 20th.

Tickets are selling fast, so please book in advance, as we are in their little studio space, whilst No Fit State inhabit the main house.

We’ve just spent a couple of sunny days by the seaside in Poole, Dorset, at The Lighthouse, where two ladies enjoyed the show so much, they came back for the second night! We were in their lovely studio theatre, which we just squeezed into. The dark floorboards added somewhat to the backgammon feel!

For those who are planning to come to tomorrow’s mega-session: sorry sorry sorry, but the times have changed from 12-4pm, not as previously mentioned, 2-6pm.

We will be in studio 1 to start with and then will move downstairs to studio 2 for the second half of the session. Please please be on time, so we can use as much time as possible in the higher room.

This Sunday, the youth circus will be on half term, so we are taking advantage of that by running a four-hour acrobalance class for adults at Jacksons Lane, 2-6pm; £30 per participant. Please drop us an email to book a place.

Here’s what we got up to last week with the youth circus!

We’ve had a very busy couple of days up at The Arc, in Stockton On Tees.

We worked with a group of seven performers, to make a short piece to perform as a curtain-raiser for Backgammon for Beginners; we headed out to the streets in the rain to promote the show; we sat on the Arc’s silver sofa to chat about the making of the show; and we headed up to Newcastle to run a workshop with the lovely Five Ring Circus.
